Donato Verrastro
Donato Verrastro is an Associate Professor of Contemporary History at the University of Basilicata, and has specialised in political history, institutions and social behaviour between the 19th and 20th centuries. His current research focuses on the history of Vatican aid in post-war Italy. He is a member of the Deputazione di Storia Patria for Lucania, as well as a member of several historical societies. He is director of the “Emilio Colombo” Centre for International Studies and president of the “Emanuele Gianturco” Foundation.
